I’m Poonam Bobade, the proud President of Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East for this Centenary year. Professionally, I wear many hats. I’m the Founder of BrainGyan, an executive coaching academy, and a Trustee of BrainGyan Foundation, through which we support rural students by providing stationery, educational support, and personal development training. I also run TECHCHASE, a digital solutions company that helps coaches, trainers, consultants, and advisors grow their businesses using internet marketing. Our services include video editing, website development, book publishing, and social media marketing—offering a one-stop tech and branding solution. On the personal front, I live in Dombivli with my husband, an executive coach, and our lovely daughter who is in 5th standard. I enjoy listening to music, networking, and of course, shopping! My heart lies in social service, and Inner Wheel gives me a beautiful platform to contribute, connect, and make a difference. With over 62 dynamic members, Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East is a powerhouse of compassion, leadership, and action. I’m truly grateful and excited to serve and lead this wonderful community. Installation Ceremony 2023-24

Celebration of Doctors & CA Day

On 2nd July 2022, after Installation, President Poonam Bobade & team's 1st project of a special felicitation ceremony honoring 5 distinguished Chartered Accountants (CA) and thirty accomplished Doctors. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Guest of Honour PDC Revati Jathar, adding to the significance of the occasion. 

Women's Health Checkup Camp

The Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East and the Women Dental Council organized a two-day women’s health camp on 9th and 16th July. Held at Adyakshar Imaging Center and Swanand Laboratories, it offered free health check-ups to 32 women, promoting awareness and well-being through vital screenings and diagnostics.

Institiue of Office Bearers

on dated 12th July 2023 ou club held a guidance lecture for the 2023–24 team, led by past presidents who shared leadership insights and club values. The session encouraged unity, growth, and learning from experience. PP Anjali Khisti sponsored snacks, enhancing the spirit of support and camaraderie among members.

Fellowship - Marathi Movie "Baipan Bhari Deva"

18 members of the Club enjoyed a joyful fellowship outing by watching the Marathi movie Baipan Bhari Deva. Filled with laughter and bonding, the event fostered camaraderie and cultural appreciation. Tickets were generously sponsored by an individual member, adding a special touch to the experience.

Celebration of Guru Poornima

We were honored to host Vidya Vachaspati Anuradha Kulkarni, who delivered a 60-minute enlightening talk on “गुरुवीण कोण त्राता?” Her impactful insights deepened our understanding of a true guru’s role. She was felicitated for her valuable contribution, making the session both inspiring and thought-provoking for all attendees.

Eco-Friemdly Ganesh Idol Making

Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation and Paryavaran Purak Mandal organized an eco-friendly Ganpati idol-making competition, sponsored by local clubs and Shree Laxmi Narayan Sanstha. With 162 students and 9 teachers from 9 schools participating, the event promoted environmental awareness. PP Rohini Lokare and Ashish Bobade played key roles in its success.

Donation of Sewing Machine

The Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East donated sewing machines to women at Kustha Rog Seva Sanstha, led by Padmashree Gajanan Mane, to empower them and promote self-sufficiency. PP Vijaya Nandre donated Rs. 7,000, and the club contributed Rs. 1,500. PP Rekha Deshpande introduced the club to the sangh members.

Rakhi Making Competition

The Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East continued its tradition by hosting a "Rakhi Making Competition," where students created around 285 rakhis, totaling 500. This patriotic effort honored Indian soldiers’ selfless service. On August 14th, the rakhis were sent to soldiers via Speed Post, fostering gratitude among children.

Rakhi for Jawans

The Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East continued its cherished tradition by conducting the "Rakhi Making Competition." The handmade rakhis were sent to Indian soldiers, honoring their tireless efforts in protecting our nation and ensuring our safety.

Independence Day

We proudly share that Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East’s President, Mrs. Poonam Bobade, had the honor of hoisting the national flag at Acharya Bhise School, Patharli. Joined by dignitaries and 196 students, teachers, and community members, the club distributed chikki and writing kits, celebrating unity and support.

Shikshanchi Dharu Aas

Our Club, with BrainGyan Foundation and Sanjeevani Adivasi Group, donated notebooks, drawing books, storybooks, and personal hygiene items to children. Members Uma Deshpande contibuted Tooth paste, Tooth Brush)and Shilpa Natu also contributed Chikki at Dhaman Vadi, Koparachi Vadi, and Katkar Vadi – Near Badlapur The children’s joyful erformances made the event heartwarming.

Tree Plantation

Our ongoing tree plantation project on the main road divider, from Ashray Charitable Trust to GNP Mall, includes planting 50 Bougainvillea and 100 Lily plants. We also repaired and refitted banners along the route to enhance the area's beauty and awareness.

Raksha Bandhan Celebration

It was a great pleasure celebrating Raksha Bandhan with officers from Manpada and Ramnagar Police Stations. Seeing their joyful faces was truly heartwarming. To add to the festivities, sweets were distributed, spreading happiness and appreciation for their dedicated service.

Mangalagaur Celebration

Our Club hosted a Mangalagour fellowship program with Zone 6 office bearers. Urmi Group from Ambernath performed games, and a ramp walk for members and children was held. Prerana Raichur was guest of honor, with Mrs. Arti Munishwar and Mrs. Meenatai Godkhindi as judges. The event was sponsored by the President.

Sparsh-Acharya Bhise School

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East organized the Sparsh program at Acharya Bhise School, led by Project Chairman PP Vidya Baitule. It was conducted in three sessions for ages 4–7, 8–10, and 11–13 years. PP Vidya Baitule also sponsored chikki for 48 boys and 47 girls.

Cyber Safety Awarness Lecture

Inner Wheel Clubs of Dombivli East and West organized a Cyber Safety Awareness program at Nutan Vikas College, Kalyan. The lecture highlighted digital risks and equipped students with essential knowledge to protect themselves online, emphasizing precautions for mobile use and social media safety in today’s digital age.

Cyber Safety Awarness for Teachers & Parents

Inner Wheel Club organized a cyber security awareness program for parents of Green English School, Dombivli East. Experts Ashish Bobade and Amar Deshpande spoke on cyber safety and hacking. ACP Sunil Khurade and Mrs. Vaishali Khurade were guests of honor. Students performed a skit, and members sang devotional songs.

Cyber Safety Awarness for MIAMI Girls College

Inner Wheel Club, in collaboration with IWC Ulhasnagar, organized a Cyber Safety & AI Awareness program at MIAM Girls Jr College for 11th and 12th graders. The session included a brief lecture on cyber safety and artificial intelligence. Pens were distributed to the guests as a token of appreciation.

Sparsh-ZP Katai School

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East organized the Sparsh program at ZP School Katai, led by Project Chairman PP Vidya Baitule. Children aged 6 to 12 learned about safe and unsafe touch through photos and presentations in three sessions. PP Vidya Baitule distributed chikki to 48 boys, 54 girls, and 3 teachers.

Notebook Donation - Zp Katai School

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East distributed notebooks and writing materials to students, generously sponsored by Brain Gyan. Each student received three notebooks along with essential writing supplies to support their education and encourage their academic growth. This initiative aims to help students excel in their studies.

Cyber Safety Awarness for Bhausaheb Prajape College

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East, in collaboration with IWC Ambernath, organized a Cyber Safety & AI Awareness program at Bhausaheb Paranjape High School, Ambernath. The session was attended by 182 students from 11th and 12th grades, along with 6 teachers and 4 IWC members, focusing on digital safety and artificial intelligence.

Sparsh -Gavdevi Vidya Mandir

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East organized the Sparsh program at Gavdevi Vidyamandir, Dombivli West, led by Project Head PP Nayana Sunthankar and PP Vidya Baitule. The sessions, for children aged 4–12, explained safe and unsafe touch using photos and presentations. PP Vidya Baitule distributed chikki to 159 boys, 178 girls, and 9 teachers.

Kumarika Pujan - Gavdevi Vidyamandir

On the occasion of Lalita Panchami, ISO Leena distributed potli and bananas to girls, and pens along with bananas to boys. Pens were also gifted to the teachers as a token of appreciation.


Grocery Donation at Aaajiche Ghar

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East visited the senior citizen home, Aajincha Ghar, distributing groceries and toiletries. PP Vidya Baitule introduced the club, and Mrs. Gandhe spoke about Dilasa. We celebrated birthdays of President Poonam Bobade and PP Rekha Deshpande, with songs by PP Rekha and PP Jayshree Tambat, plus Ganesh Vandana. The visit included heartfelt conversations and snacks. Sixteen members donated, with cake sponsored by the President and cupcakes and wafers by PP Rekha Deshpande.

Old Cloth Donation Drive

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East organized an old clothes collection drive, focusing on sarees, dresses, and shirts in good condition. The collected clothes were handed to Vayam Foundation for donation to the Adivasi people of Jawhar. The club sponsored snacks, and EC member Shilpa Natu generously provided ice cream for volunteers and donors.

E-Waste Collection Drive

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East organized an electronic waste collection program, gathering items like TVs, computer CPUs, monitors, CDs, and X-rays. A total of 76.5 kg of e-waste was collected and sent to E-waste My Green’s Khopoli unit for recycling. The club sponsored snacks, and EC member Shilpa Natu provided ice cream for volunteers.

Donation of Medical-Aid

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East organized medical aid and cradle donation for infants at Janani Ashish Trust. EC Member Shilpa Natu donated medicines worth Rs. 17,940, PP Vidya Baitule donated a cradle, and PP Rajashree Chavare contributed clothes. Several members collectively donated Rs. 5,500 for the cause.

Surakshit Bachpan

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East expressed heartfelt emotions by  doing this session on K.R.Kotakar Secondary Vidyalaya of 8th standard students on 3 day &   donating 12 dozen notebooks to students, supporting their education and encouraging their academic journey.

OCV (Official Club Visit)

On 7th November 2023, the Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East proudly completed its OCV in the esteemed presence of District Chairman Pallavi Choksi. The event was marked by outstanding coordination and achievement, earning a distinction and celebrating the dedication and efforts of every member involved in this success.

On the 7th occasion of the OCV, in the esteemed presence of District Chairman Pallavi Choksi, the Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East proudly released its Centenary Year 2023–24 Souvenir. The moment marked a celebration of legacy, commitment, and the club’s unwavering dedication to service and fellowship.

Tricycle Donation

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East supported differently-abled individuals by donating a tricycle to Mr. Usman Patel, disabled since age three. The donation was presented by District Chairman Pallaviji Choksi during OCV. President Poonam Bobade and several members generously contributed to this meaningful project.

Mother's Pak-Kala Competition

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East and Akshaypatra Sanstha judged the Matagat Pakkala competition at Acharya Bhise Guruji School. Forty-two parents prepared traditional dishes, and five winners were selected. Pens were also gifted to eight teachers on Diwali.

Diwali celebration at Rambhau Bhise Balvikas Mandir

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East participated in the Diwali celebration at Rambhau Bhise Balvikas Mandir. Students created Killa, Rangoli, and Kandil, which were judged by club members. Winners from each category received medals and gifts sponsored by PP Sulabha Kamble. Students also shared the meaning behind their creations.

Diwali Dhamaka- Online Rangoli Competition

Thirty-six participants competed in the Rangoli contest by submitting quality photos. Eight winners were announced and honored with trophies and e-certificates. The competition was open to IWC members and the public, judged by six club members, with results declared on December 10. Winners’ trophies were couriered to them.

Diwali Dhamaka- Online Kandil Making Competition

Twelve participants joined the Aakash Kandil contest, sharing photos of their work. Five winners were chosen and received trophies and e-certificates. The competition was open to IWC members and the public, judged by six club members, with results declared on December 10. Winners’ trophies were couriered to them.

Diwali Dhamaka-Killa Making Online Competition

Eight groups of 5-6 members participated in the Killa making contest, submitting photos before and after completion. Three winners were selected and awarded trophies and e-certificates. The competition was open to IWC members and the public, judged by six club members, with results declared on December 10. Winners’ trophies were couriered to them.

Fellowship Movie - Zimma

Total 27 members of the Club enjoyed a joyful fellowship outing by watching the Marathi movie Zimma. Filled with laughter and bonding, the event fostered camaraderie and cultural appreciation. Tickets were generously sponsored by an individual member, adding a special touch to the experience.

Science Exhibition at Greens English School

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East, in collaboration with Greens English School, organized a two-day Science Exhibition. On 15th December, students showcased and explained exhibits like Hydroponic Farming, GMRT, Robotic Café, and more. Judging was conducted that day. On 16th December, prizes were awarded across five categories, distributing 90 trophies to winners and encouraging all participants.

Donation of the Library & Cupboard & 100 Books

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East donated 100 books along with a cupboard to the school library. The books were generously contributed by Mrs. Sunita Chougule, mother of ISO Leena Choudhari. The donation ceremony was attended by Headmaster Yuvraj Mahale and Headmistress Madhuri Aynor from Netivli School.

Annadan for Blind Students

Innerwheel Club of Dombivli East donated 50 kg of rice and 25 kg of tuar dal to support 10 blind girls residing at the Blind Progressive Foundation, providing them with essential food supplies to aid their daily nourishment and well-being.

Annual Day Celebration of Patharli School

Innerwheel Club of Dombivli East (District 314) and Innerwheel Club of Chanda Fort (District 303) jointly organized the first Annual Day of Acharya Bhise High School, Patharli. Awards were given to Best Teacher and Best Class. Gifts like pencil pouches and geometry boxes were distributed. Members and sponsors contributed towards snacks and prizes.

Felicitation of Jump Rope Winners

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East felicitated 13 students (9 from Dombivli, 4 from Nashik) who won medals at the World Jump Rope Championships in Colorado, USA. The students (classes VII to X) received trophies and folders, and the two coaches were honored with trophies, shawls, and shreephal.

Science & Art Exhibition at Rambhau Bhise School

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East members judged the Science, Arts, and Craft Exhibition at Rambhau Bhise Balvikas Mandir. Prizes were given to winners, sponsored by PP Sulabha Kamble (Rs. 5700). Travel expenses for President Poonam Bobade were Rs. 500.

Online Essay Competition

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East organized an online essay competition on “Youth’s Leadership in All Aspects” for IWC members and ISOs. It was held in English, Hindi, and Marathi. There were 34 English entries, 2 Hindi, and none in Marathi. Judges were PP Sangeeta Godse (English), Madhuri Navare (Hindi), and Meenatai Godkhindi (Marathi).

Sankrant Haldi-Kuku Celebration

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East held their 6th GBM and Sankrant Haldi Kumkum celebration at Rohini Patil’s residence. The meeting and festivities were sponsored by member Rohini Patil and PP Rekha Deshpande. The new team was announced, followed by the Haldi Kumkum ceremony.

Internet Business Mastery

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East, in collaboration with Braingyan Foundation and Indus Power, organized a two-day workshop on Internet Business Mastery. AI Coach Mr. Ashish Bobade lectured on generating income through various online businesses without needing staff or an office. The project was sponsored by Indus Power System.

Deepostav

Members of Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East participated in lighting around 1,25,000 lamps arranged in the shape of Shree Ram. Samosas for the event were sponsored by Shilpa Natu and PP Rohini Lokare.

Republic Day Celebration at Palvi Karnbadhir School

Members of Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East were invited to the Republic Day celebration at Palavi School for the Deaf and Dumb. President Poonam Bobade distributed pencil kits to all the students. PP Ujwala Deodhar, Nayana Sunthankar, and member Neelam Mahale also attended the program.

Cyber Crime Awarness -Dyaneshwar Karyalay

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East, along with Brahman Sabha of Dombivli West, organized a program on types and challenges of cybercrime faced by the public. Advocate Shirish Deshpande and Ashish Bobade spoke on the topic. Gifts were sponsored by the President.

Sparsh- Lokmanya Tilak School

Innerwheel Club of Dombivli East organized the Sparsh program led by Project Chairman PP Vidya Baitule in two sessions, conducted in Marathi and English. It covered students from grades 1 to 7, aged 4 to 12 years (groups 4-7, 8-10, and 11-12). There were 54 boys and 67 girls, and PP Vidya Madam distributed chikki to all.

Celebrate Valentine Day 

Members of IWC Dombivli East gathered for a Valentine’s Day lunch celebration. Shilpa Natu organized the event, arranging the menu in advance. The lunch was funded through a self-contribution of Rs. 650 per head.

Sujok Theraphy

IWC member Mrs. Sheetal Rane gave a lecture on Sujok therapy and facial massage, demonstrating pressure points on the hands and performing a facial massage on a member, encouraging others to follow. Snacks were sponsored by Mrs. Rane, and the hall was sponsored by Sharvari Joshi.

Nandanvan - Sunder Baugh Spardha

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East, along with IWC Dombivli Main, IWC Dombivli West, Paryavaran Dakshata Mandal, and Enviro Vigil, organized the Nandanvan Sundar Baug competition. They visited gardens across Kalyan Dombivli and awarded 54 prizes at the ceremony held on 24th February.

Zone 6- Divya Prayash

Ten Inner Wheel Clubs of Zone 6, led by IWC Kalyan, organized an annadan and medical health checkup for 100 transgender individuals. They distributed 100 food packets and conducted medical checkups for all participants.

Marathi Bhasha Divas Celebration

IWC of Dombivli East celebrated Marathi Bhasha Divas, organized by Project Chairman Mrs. Madhuri Navare, who highlighted the importance of the Marathi language and the origins of this celebration. Members performed skits, jokes, songs, or poems for 3 minutes each. The menu was sponsored by Bharti Palkar and Sharvari Ketkar.

Navi Umang - Singing Competition for Senior citizens

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East conducted on going project NAVI UMANG for senior citizens. Day 1 had a Shree Ram-themed singing competition with 29 participants and 5 prizes.


Navi Umang- Gele Lihyache Rahun

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East conducted on going project NAVI UMANG for senior citizens. Day 2 CA Madhav Khisti gave a lecture on the importance of making a will. Students performed a skit on plastic pollution. Snacks were sponsored by Cabinet Minister Ravindra Chavan.

Womens Day Clebration

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East celebrated Women’s Day with games organized by the President, awarding prizes to three winners, followed by an entertaining antakshari session. PP Anjali Khisti and Madhuri Navare gifted anklets to members.

Hearing Aid Machine Donation

IWC of Dombivli East donated hearing aids to 10 students at Palavi School for Deaf and Dumb, Ulhasnagar. The event was graced by Mrs. Indira Joese, sister of Late Dr. Anusaya Gopalan. Donations came from PP Manasi Vaidya, Late Dr. Gopalan, and Mrs. Konkane. Maintenance funds were supported by Secretary Sharvari Joshi. 

Blind Chess Competition

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East, with Dyaneshwar Karyalay Dombivli West, organized a chess competition for 100 visually impaired players from various cities. The event featured 6 rounds, with cash prizes, certificates, and travel allowances. Sponsors and guests were honored, and food and hall were sponsored by Dyaneshwar Karyalay.

Visit Manodaya Trust

Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East donated old bedsheets, blouse pieces, and newspapers for making bags by disabled people. Eight members contributed 90 kgs of newspapers, 115 blouse pieces, and 12 bedsheets. Snacks and lassi were provided to 11 special children involved in the project.

Milk Bag Collection

On World Environment Day, IWC of Dombivli East collected 2.5 kgs of milk bags to reduce plastic waste pollution. PP Nayana Sunthankar and President Poonam Bobade gathered and couriered the bags to Kunti Oza, Colaba, supporting eco-friendly initiatives.

Fellowship - Picnic

On 20th June 2024, 29 joyful members of the Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East enjoyed a delightful rainy picnic at Pinewood Resort, Karjat. Laughter echoed, memories were made, and the monsoon magic brought everyone closer. It was a day full of cheer, bonding, nature, and unforgettable moments together.

Donation of 2 RO Water Filter

Two water filters were generously donated to Dawadi ZP School and Dawadi Anganwadi to ensure access to safe and clean drinking water.
