Rekha Jaokar, President of Inner Wheel Club of Dombivli East. She has been a homemaker & resident of dombivli for the last 40 years. She helped her husband run the family business of a medical store situated at Dombivli west. she has been an active & supporting member of the club for 12 years and helped in many medical-related projects. She did an excellent job of distributing medicines to poor and needy people during the covid time. She is blessed with two children, a daughter and a son. Her hobbies are cooking and making friends. Rekha will make her year memorable.

She is a retired government employee in 2021. she got the prestigious award of "Best Employee from Labour Minister" Govt. of Maharashtra. Also received many awards for cycling.

Installation Ceremony 2022-23

Wheelchair & Crutches Donation
On 2nd July 2022, after Installation, President Rekha Jaokar & team's 1st project of donating wheelchairs & crutches. Total 4 Wheelchair & 2 Crutches were donated to Swarajya Apang Vikas Sanstha needy people.

Gurupournima Celebration
Gurupournima Celebration on 19th July 2022, Felicitation of Sunil Khardikar sir of Khardikar classes. Also 5 teachers of same classes were felicitated. 2 members of our club was also felicitated.
Eco-Friendly Ganpati Idol
On 7th August 2022, 65 students from different schools learnt to make Ganpati idol under guidance of famous artist Shree Guneshji Adwal. This project was under Club Cordinator Leena Choudhari.
Rakshabandhan for jawan's
This Project was held on 8th August 2022, Sent 500 rakhis to Jawans of Indian Army on occasion of Rakshabandhan with the help of retired soldier Mr. Gajanan Mane.
Rakshabandhan Celebration with Police & Post office Staff
Occasion of rakshabandhan our club members tied rakhis to police men & women. Also we tied rakhis to post man & post office staff on 10/8/2022. Total 75 police mem, women, & post men were tide rakhis by our members.
Prabhat Pheri
Under project of Har Ghar Tiranga our club participated in Prabhat Pheri organised by Kalyan Dombivli Muncipal Corporation on dated 12th August 2022, During this prabhat pheri we distributed snacks to 1000 school Children & teachers.
Har Ghar Tiranga
Har Ghar Tiranga. In this project we distributed 36 Tirangas to Adivasi at Neral. We also explained them how to take care of our flag. We distributed Jilebi & fafda to these Adivasies.
Sparsh - District Project
Our PP Vidya Baitule with the help of Poonam Bobade completed this District project on dated 20th August 2022, Total 300 students from 1st standard to 8 th standard learnt about safe - unsafe touch with slide show n narration . PP Vidya Baitule sponsored pens for students.
Online Ganpati Decoration Competition- ISO Project
ISO Pratibha Kale lead this project. Our club took online competition. Total 9 entries were there. We gave E-certificate to winners & participants.
Felicitation of Sr. Police Inspector & Awarness of Cyber Law
Felicitation of Senior police officers of 4 head stations of Dombivli on dated 17th September 2022, all police officers wew felicitated by giving trophy, shawl, shreephal. At this time police officers guided all about Cyber Crime, Security And senior Advocate Shirish Deshpande delivered lecture on cyber law. Total 90 people were benefitted.
Old News Paper Donation
Our club donated old news papers on dated 28th September 2022, to Manoday trust run by Dr. Padhye a famous psychiatric. Here special children learn to make paper bags. They sale these bags to local shopkeepers. This one of their income source. Every year and as and when required we gather old news paper and donate them. This is our ongoing project.
Old Cloths Donation for making Handbags, Doormats etc,
Our club donated old but in good condition clothes to Blind Progressive welfare Association of Dombivli West on dated 20th October 2022. Thses people stich cloth bags, Doormats and sale them to earn money. Our PP Sharvari Ketkar supported us alot in this project. She also sponsered tempo charges.
Dandiya Nights- Fellowship
On Date 2nd October 2022, On occasion of Navratri our club with IWC Dombivli West Club & IWC Dombivli Club organized Dandiya Night. We enjoyed a lot with our friends & also enjoyed delicious food.
Annadan to Kinnars
On occasion of Diwali our club donated food grains packets to 40 Kinnars. We donated a kit containing Rice, Dal, Sugar, Oil,Ghee, Soap etc essential things of daily needs. R K Bazar of Dombivli has given us great help to fulfill our wish to bring smile on most needy n neglected citizens of our society.
Cyclothon
On dated 11th December cyclothon project done with school children with the help of Dombivli cycling club. Children from Patkar school, SV Joshi high school participated in this cyclothon. Total 68 students were there. Every student is honoured by Medal and certificate. Dr. Puntambekar explained the importance of cycling for health and for the environment. This was the first cyclothon for students which was conducted by the Inner wheel club of Dombivli East. Jayshree Pandit was a project chairman
Open chess competition for Blind
This unique project was conducted by Inner wheel club of Dombivli East in association with Blind progressive welfare association Dombivli west. 38 participants from different parts of Mahabharata came here for this competition. There was no age limit. All the participants were playing enthusiastically from morning till evening. IWC Dombivli East gave cash prizes to 1 St three winners and others were honoured by Medal. Food and breakfast,tea coffee was organised by IWCDE. Our motto is to bring them to the mainstream.
Visit to PARAPLEGIC REHAB CENTRE KIRKEE PUNE
This was a great experience for our members. Members of IWCDE visited this centre to show our love and respect for our real heroes. IWCDE members perform dance ,sang beautiful songs and presented well known poet's poems in front of brave soldiers. We distributed snacks to these brave hearts. Also some of them share their life stories with us. It was a great experience to have a conversation with them. Also our club donated 51000/- to this centre.
